Firecloud using .net framework 6.0.21

Firecloud is installing .net framework 6.0.21 which is end of life, unsupported, and has vulnerabilities.

We are unable to deploy this product internally or to customers, as it would cause Cyber Essentials to fail.

Why is this new product running on something that went EOL in 2023, can it be packaged with something more modern (version 8-10).

This was something I raised last year, and told it was getting resolved, but it's not the case.

    I have been informed that this is in QA testing to move to .net version 8, however this also goes EOL in November 2026.
