OpenVPN for MacOS Tahoe

Hi all.

Has anyone successfully configured an OVPN file for use with OpenVPN on MacOS Tahoe. For us, name resolution will not work unless we manually enter DNS servers and domain name search in MacOS settings. And even then, browsing SMB shares is iffy. Previous MacOS versions work without issue using the Watchguard SSL VPN client. We moved to OpenVPN for our Tahoe user as the Watchguard client just would not work.

    Hi @MarcC
    I'd suggest opening a support case; SSLVPN should work fine with Tahoe.

    The SSLVPN client is built on OpenVPN, so if that reasonably works for your customer and they're happy with it, there isn't really any reason to change back.

    Thank you @james.carson . We have updated our Fireboxes to the latest firmware and should be able to use the latest SSL client for Mac. Will try it out and report back to close out this thread.
