MUVPN DNS only resolving FQDN for iOS devices?

Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

IKEv2 and SSL vpn (fallback) works fine on windows devices. DNS queries work for server01 and server01.my.doman resolving the correct internal IP address.

However, when we try this on an iphone connected by VPN it will only resolve the FQDN - server01.my.domain and times out if we try and just resolve server01

The VPN is set specifying the internal ip address of our DNS servers and I also have the search domain enabled (my.domain).

What am I missing?

    Hi @Cooper4380
Which VPN type are you using for your iPhone?

-If it's SSLVPN, and you can see the secondary FQDN/IP specified in the OVPN file, it may be an issue with that specific client. Try another OpenVPN based client for your phone.

-If it's IKEv2, check your DNS suffix in your VPN or network settings on the phone.

If neither of those help, I'd suggest opening a support case so that one of our reps can help.
