Video freezes in Teams and Google Meets

I am having problems with Teams and Google Meets calls, whenever the video would freeze and no longer play the following error would appear on the firewall:

2025-05-06 11:16:35 Member1 pxy 0xf32430-36129607 188: 192.168.32.220:59418 -> 74.125.250.245:3478 [A t] {R}: fatal write error (errno=1: Operation not permitted). aborting channel. Debug

What could be the cause of this behavior?

The firebox is a M470 with firmware 12.11

    Hi @D4rkSeven

    It looks like a TCP/UDP proxy is unable to write that specific traffic to the proxy. Considering the source port is 59418 and the destination port is 3478, a TCP-UDP proxy is likely the type of policy this traffic is being sent via.

    Is there a reason you are proxying this traffic? Does this traffic work if you create a packet filter to allow it?

    I'd suggest opening a support case so that our team can get more details and help find a solution.

  • Hi @james.carson

    Yes, it is a TCP-UDP Proxy.

    A Packet Filter was created to allow this type of traffic and it has worked fine.

    I have an open case with support to investigate further and find a solution.

    Thanks for your response.
