Does clients get que:ed in wait for update via cashe server (adaptive defence)

In Panda adaptive defence 360, When a cashe server is setup and designated for the clients, does the clients get qued in wait for the cashe to download the requested update, or do they get diverted to online and the specific update gets saved in the cashe for later use?

The cache computer downloads the update(s) regardless of what computer requested it.
