Change bovpn to VIF configuration bug
Hi,
FireboxV 12.8.2.U1
I had a bovpn tunnel named tunnel1. I deleted this tunnel and created a new tunnel using VIF named the same, tunnel1, and saved the configuration to the firebox.
After this change the bvpn interface is missing under Network Configuration when i take a status report. I noticed this because not all traffic are parsing the tunnel now to the remote destination. All policies have been updated after the tunnel change.
If i enable logging on a ping policy, i can see it is allowed, but never goes through the tunnel from a machine behind the firewall. But if i do a ping from FSM, it works.
Odly most traffic works though.
If i do a sh bovpn-vif from CLI the VIF tunnel is listed.
I will reboot the FireboxV when traffic is low later and i´ll hope the VIF interface will be updated to the kernel.

Yep, a reboot solved it.
Always on the bleeding edge it seems.
Take the weekend off
I can´t - we are in the middle of a datacenter migration and ERP upgrade project so there is limited time where i can touch the vpn tunnels.
Been there...
