setting up new office (move) w/new clustered environment, question
We currently have 2 ISP circuits, and I split them each with small off the shelf switches. What are you guys all using to do the same into your clustered setups? We are purchasing new switches for the main office, but the vendor is only offering a 12 port switch for my in between both fireboxes. Its serious overkill.
Current fireboxes are m270, new fireboxes will be m295
Anyhow just wondering what others do for this ![]()
Thanks!

😎 no one will share their info with me out here? State secrets I guess lol
We were quoted juniper 12port switches for this task, and the price (and ports) was just silly for what this is needed for.
I am happy to share my email if you rather contact me that way, just trying to bring some idea's to the table on this project. Currently using some tp-link small switches, price-wise worth it cause I can keep an extra on the shelf if necessary (never had an issue in the however many years they have been sitting there)
thanks for reading :)0 -
Honestly, I've seen many folks use their out of contract gear because it is just a L2 switch. I've seen 5 port and upward netgear, TP-link, Aruba, HPE, cisco, Extreme brand names. The last place I had to set this up with had 2 different extreme switches.
