FSM HostWatch shows many pings to 8.8.8.8 - the link monitor IP addr, with a number started more than 4 mins ago. Why are they still showing ? Shouln't these be removed as soon as there is a ping reply ? And shouldn't there be a short (30 sec) timeout for pings ? Running V12.5 beta.

Is anybody using this configuration to eliminate the need for a router in front of the firebox's external interface? In Fireware XTM v11.9.1 or higher, you can configure a physical external interface with a default gateway on a different subnet than the interface IP address.
